The MQX 2010 photo disc is available for immediate shipment. Similar to the previous discs, it is Mac/PC and DVD player compatible, and contains photos of all the quilt and garment entries in MQX 2010, as well as the special exhibit of featured artist Sharon Schamber. Also included is the special exhibit of humorous quilts, the teacher's quilts, the fashion show, and candid photos taken throughout the week. The 2010 disc has over 1400 high resultion photos of 289 quilts and garments, plus 310 of the fashioin show and 363 candids. All of the quilt and garment photos are annotated with full catalog information. Because there was no more room on the disc, the 2010 time lapse videos are not on the disc, but are available here. The MQX 2009 photo disc is available for immediate shipment. Similar to the 2007 and 2008 discs, it is Mac/PC and DVD player compatible, and contains photos of all the quilt and garment entries in MQX 2009, as well as the special exhibit "Real Men Can Quilt", the featured artist exhibit of Ronda K. Beyer's quilts, the Fashion Show, many candid photos of the show activities, and time-lapse videos of the Armory and Expo Center exhibit halls. The 2009 disc has over 1400 high resolution photos of over 340 quilts and garments, plus an additional 300+ candids and 400+ of the fashion show. All of the quilt and garment photos are annotated with full catalog information. The music for 2009 DVD sound track was performed by Painted Water, led by Ian Henderson of Seattle Washington. The MQX 2008 photo disc is available for immediate shipment. Like last year, this disc is set up for both DVD player use and computer use.
An on-line demo is available, follow this link to see what this disc will present to you. Over 1000 photos of the 271 quilt and garment entries from Machine Quilters Exposition, April 16-19, 2008, multiple views of each 365 Candid photographs of the show activities, another 166 of the fashion show, plus photos of the special exhibit "Best of Show, All Breed AKC" by Linda Hibbert, and a collection of quilter's vanity license places found in the parking garage by Klaus Diercks Eight time-lapse videos from the web camera. The Thursday Armory video is the funniest, as the entire scene is drifting slowly as the tape holding it in place weakens, until the camera finally just falls over. You can watch this video in the on-line demo. On the video portion of the DVD, the quilt slide show is accompanied by the music of Evan Paul, a Toronto-based classical guitarist and songwriter. The MQX 2007 Photo Disc is available for immediate shipment. The disc has two separate viewing modes, one based on the Video DVD format, and another based on your computer's Internet web browser. Over 600 photos of over 290 quilts and garments from Machine Quilters Exposition, April 2007, including the special exhibit of the Tri-State black and white challenge Over 180 candid photographs of show activities and the banquet, and another 176 of the fashion show Eleven time-lapse videos from the web camera. On the video portion of the DVD, the slide shows are accompanied by music performed on the piano by Jeffrey Van Devender of JavaMusiK. See below for more details on what this disc contains.
